“Niall from One Direction,” 2020

During quarantine in 2020, I was still taking a couple of art classes, one of them allowed us to work on projects without prompts rather than giving us specific projects to work on. Because I had a slight One Direction phase during the time of Covid, I felt inspired to recreate a photo of one of the band members, Niall Horan.

This portrait was done in strictly colored pencil and allowed me to focus on my blending skills as well as how to create facial details.
